Torremolinos

Torremolinos is located just 7km west of Malaga airport and was the first resort in the Costa del Sol to have been developed in the early sixties when it was a sleepy fishing village. Nowadays the town is a fabulous resort for original fresh fish bars and restaurants, fantastic shopping centre and original boutiques and gift shops. All of these reflect the village’s original heritage.

Torremolinos is known for its clean and sandy beaches. The location is attractive and appealing and it offers a wide number of hotels and restaurants. There are many entertainment facilities and an enchanting nightlife.

Torremolinos Sea FrontThe resort is popular with young tourists who visit Torremolinos thanks to its reputation for a wild and magical nightlife. Out of season the resort takes on a more calm character. Some refer to Torremolinos  as a suburb of Malaga but it has its own Spanish atmosphere which is a delicacy of friendliness and invitation.

One of the major attractions for this town is the fantastic beach area. The location is dusted with fancy hotels and traditional yet contempary restaurants and bars. The area can get busy in the summer, but the long stretch of sea and sand is plenty to amuse the locals without being too crowded!
