San Pedro

San Pedro de Alcantara, often shortened to San Pedro, is in the perfect location and situated impeccably well in the Costa del Sol. The town is located just 10km from the enchanting Marbella and therefore the glamorous nightlife and shopping spree is only a short drive away. For the more adventurous, or somewhat impulsive, San Pedro is very close to the beautiful Sierra de Ronda mountain range. The fascinating mountain range is a real gem for all tourists to visit.


San Pedro Sea FrontThe town is famous for its ancient farming and sugar cane crops, and the traditional narrow streets and inviting small shops all add to the town’s culturally intact remains.
There are many small cafes and restaurants, which offer traditional Spanish delicacies. The centre of the town is just a short, yet picturesque, walk towards the seafront. The wide pathway is garnished with palm trees. There are many restaurants along the seafront selling delicious fish food. The location is a popular with tourists who enjoy a stroll along the contempary wide set promenade. Along the beach there are more historical attractions such as the Paleochritian Balisilica Church and the 3rd century Roman Baths.


San Pedro is a popular destination for tourists who are interested in really experiencing the full package when on holiday in the Costa del Sol. The wide scope of entertainment and rural activities it offers seems endless for those visiting the area.
