Marbella Shopping
Marbella is one of Europe’s most fashionable cities and not surprisingly it is home to plenty of high end luxurious fashion boutiques. But it’s not just fashion stores Marbella has to offer, you’ll also find all the usual shops that you could expect in any large city.
Traditional Town Centre Shopping
One of the best ways to explore Marbella’s shopping district is simply by strolling through the numerous streets. Amongst the wide range of shops you will need some of the top names in fashion and jewellery including Cartier, Bvlgari, Seijo and Burberry.
Amongst the shops in the centre of Marbella we’ll find some fantastic independent stores with shops selling something for everyone. It’s worth remembering that shops in Spain tend to stay open later, sometimes until 10pm, although smaller stores may still close for a siesta usually around 2pm.
La Canada Shopping Complex
Marbella also has several large shopping centres including the La Canada. La Canada is the Costa del Sol’s biggest shopping mall and has many of the popular high street shops you could expect to find on an English high street including Top Shop, Zara, Wallis and Dorothy Perkins.
If you’re looking to take a break from the shops and fancy grabbing a snack or meal La Canada is also home to a number of popular restaurants and fast food outlets including KFC, McDonalds, Burger King, Tapas & Canas and Papadelles Pizza.
Thanks to its spacious design and air conditioning La Canada offers a comfortable shopping atmosphere without being over crowded.
In addition to the shops and restaurants La Canada also has a great variety of entertainment facilities including a multiplex cinema and a bowling alley.
With such a wide range of shops together in luxurious surroundings Marbella certainly one of the Costa del Sol’s finest shopping areas.
