Marbella Nightlife

The nightlife scene in Marbella is regarded as one of the best in the world. The glamorous lifestyle attracts celebrities and the elite of the business world who don’t just like to party, but party in style!
Marbella has a reputation for glamour with its beautiful beaches and famous marina at Puerto Banus, and the glamour goes up a level when the sun goes down. With a wide variety of fantastic bars and open air nightclubs you can’t fail to have a good time.
The nightlife in Marbella is booming all year around but never more so than in the summer months when Marbella plays host to several infamous ‘white’ parties where as it’s name suggests the dress code is ‘white clothes only’. Parties like this tend to attract a young rich crowd from across Europe so don’t be surprised if you bump into a Premiership footballer mixing it with the hundreds of revellers oozing with style.

Nightclubs

Marbella’s largest nightclub is Dreamers located just a short walk from the main strip. The club has several VIP areas and private booths so it’s a great place for a bit of celebrity spotting. The party doesn’t start until late, so it’s not worth arriving much before 1am, but once it’s started you can party on until the sun rises.

One of Marbella’s best known nightclubs is Nikki Beach, an outdoor beach club located at the Don Carlos beach resort in Elviria. During the daytime Nikki Beach provides the perfect venue for sunbathing whilst listening to the latest funky tunes and sipping some cool cocktails. Then when the sun goes down the volumes rises and the place turns into one the hottest nightclubs in Europe.

Another swanky club is Olivia Valere, located near to the Marbella Mosque. This certainly isn’t a venue for those on a budget but if you can afford to spend the night here you won’t be disappointed by the party atmosphere spread across the club which consists of a large dance floor several bars and an outdoor terrace.

If you want to hang about with the Marbella IT crowd then head to the Suite nightclub which is located within the Puente Romano Hotel. Open during the weekends Suite fuses a fantastic restaurant, serving a mixture of Moroccan and modern European dishes, together with a lively nightclub playing the top tunes from a selection of leading DJ’s.

Fans of hip hop and R&B will enjoy a night at The Loft on the Marbella Golden Mile. The Loft serves up a range of popular nights including some midweek salsa sessions. Prices are on the pricey side but nothing above what you would expect to pay on the Golden Mile.

Bars

There are plenty of lively bars in and around Marbella including many in the Puerto Banus area.

Rock and roll types will love The Tipsy Turtle, one of the few rock venues in Marbella, playing non stop rock classics and live music after midnight this place is one of the liveliest bars in Puerto Banus.

The Library Bar is a unique bar playing music videos, from a catalogue of over 5,500, and serving cool cocktails from the bars extensive liquor range which includes over 250 different varieties.

Revellers looking for a night out on a tighter budget will find that Devils offers great value. Devils is a funky venue which attracts party animals from across Marbella and actively encourages customers to request tracks from the DJ.

Linekers is famous bar owned by the brother of England’s footballing legend Gary Lineker. The bar attracts a younger crowd and is a great place for anyone looking to let their hair down and enjoy a fun night.

For a great mix of music, cocktails and a beautiful venue you will struggle to beat The Buddha del Sol, a popular bar on the Avenida del Mar. The bar has a nice food menu but is better known for its fantastic cocktail list.

Wherever you are in Marbella you can be sure there will be a good nightlife scene and just taking a stroll along the coast you will find plenty of venues for drinking and partying.
