Alcaidesa

Although Alcaidesa is located away from the main resorts of the Costa del Sol, it offers a tranquil and peaceful location for the less adventurous tourists. It is located at the far western side of the Costa del Sol but is still within a one and half hour drive of Malaga Airport.

Local facilities include a supermarket, pharmacy and various bars and restaurants. Just less than 15 minutes away is Gibraltar in which there are greater shopping facilities.

Many tourists visit Gibraltar for the day or travel to the southern Costa de La Luz which is a short motorway journey away.
 
Other attractions include an 18-hole golf course which overlooks the ocean, and the rock of Gibraltar. This makes the location very special and a little more unique than other local courses.

The area offers fantastic panoramic views across the Mediterranean. As well as this, the beaches are ravishing and much more peaceful than the busier city of Marbella. The beaches have earned blue flags status for extremely high standards with regards to cleanliness and environmental friendliness.
