Costa del Sol villas in high demand

Holiday villas in the Costa del Sol have long been a high desirable asset for many Britons, the chance to own a luxury villa in sunny Spain is a clear sign of wealth. However the recent state of the Spanish property market has meant that such holiday homes are now available at much more affordable prices.

Brits looking to buy a holiday villa in the Costa del Sol will not find a better time to invest in the region than now according to one industry expert. Mark Stucklin, of Spanishpropertyinsight.com suggests that the currently "depressed market” gives buyers a chance to pick up good properties at lower prices.

Stucklin went on to urge buyers to stick to fundamental property buying rules "Try to get the best location, best views, good quality in designs at really great prices."

Many estate agents in the Costa del Sol are reporting increases in sales of villas and apartments suggesting that the market is starting to pick-up, and many believe that 2010 could be the best time to buy a villa in the Costa del Sol.
