Spain tops quality of life survey
Spain one of Europe's healthiest countries
Spain has been rated as one of the healthiest countries in which to live within Europe following research from the energy comparison website uSwitch. The survey looked at criteria that affects the overall health of residents within Europe taking into account healthcare, potential earnings and overall lifestyle.
The winner was France, were employees receive an average of 34 annual holiday days. Spain was just behind where workers average 41 holiday days per year and can benefit from the lowest fuel prices.
The UK performed well with its residents earning the highest net income, however cost of living was higher than most other European countries.
The Human Development Report, another recently published and independent report into the quality of life within 182 countries, found that Spain was regarded as the 8th best place to live with Norway taking the top spot.
