Hottest October for Malaga in 67 years

The weather across the Costa del Sol has been particularly good for Autumn and that was officially confirmed with temperatures for Malaga during October being the hottest on record in 67 years.

The average temperature in Malaga throughout October was reported to be 21.4 degrees centigrade according to figures released by the Spanish Met Office. The temperatures are just 3 degrees below the expected average temperatures for the peak summer months.

The hottest October on record was in 1946 when temperatures averaged 26.4 degrees centigrade.

The forecast for November shows an expected drop in temperatures by approximately 3 degrees. However the predictions are still good considering November is usually one of the colder months in the Costa del Sol.

The news will be welcomed by holidaymakers heading to the Costa del Sol for some winter sun.
