Puerto Banus to get Hard Rock Café
Hard Rock Cafe to open in Puerto Banus
Puerto Banus will be the location for the fifth Hard Rock Café to open in Spain. The new restaurant is set to open in November and will seat up to 300 guests across two floors and a terrace.
Marbella’s luxury marina Puerto Banus has been chosen for its exclusivity and scenery according to Hamish Dodds, CEO of Hard Rock International “Marbella is one of Europe’s premiere and most exclusive Mediterranean destinations situated on the scenic Costa del Sol”
The restaurant is currently undergoing a €2.5million installation and is set to become a popular hit with European and American tourists.
Hard Rock Café usually only select large cities with several million inhabitants for their restaurants, however Dodds believes that Puerto Banus and Marbella offers something a little special, “Marbella is special and its attractiveness and potential have made it possible for us to bet on this new location”
The restaurant will create 70 jobs with possibilities for 30 more during the busty summer months. A boost for the local economy which has suffered during the recent tourism downturn.
