Holidaymakers can see resort before arriving
Google Street View is now available for over 80 percent of Spain allowing holidaymakers to view a satellite image of their destination before arriving. The new images are now available via the maps feature on the Google search engine website.
The service will allow holidaymakers renting villas in the Costa del Sol to view the resort before departing for their holiday.
All of the popular holiday destinations including the Costa del Sol, the Costa Blanca and the Costa Calida can be seen along with most other areas of Spain.
Google Maps in Spain also contains a real estate option allowing users to see villas that are available to buy in the region being searched. This could offer a rival service to many of the real estate websites currently offering holiday homes in Spain.
