The subtle underwater lighting makes a dip in the hot tub, under the clear sky and stars, a wonderful way to end the day. The hot tub is controlled by the guests so that it can be heated for the winter, cool and refreshing for the summer.
This patio then leads, via an iron spiral staircase, to the magnificent roof terrace with 360 degree views. This terrace can be used as a sunbathing terrace or as a place to sit in the evenings and take in the beautiful views across to Alhaurin El Grande and the mountains.
There is a further totally private south facing garden area of soft "English type" lawn with colourful flowers contains the swimming pool, poolside shower, sun loungers and parasol. All areas are for the sole use of the villa guests.

- Guestbook comments:
- We enjoyed our holiday very much, we really needed these relaxing days.
After 6 or 7 times that we were in Andalucia for a holiday it was now the first time that we found a villa where everything works, it is clean and not to forget the beautiful surroundings!
We hope that we are able to come back soon!
Thanks to Sandra and Graham.

Had a wonderful "working" holiday in Alhaurin el Grande.
The views from the villa are superb and the home comforts made it even more pleasant.
Sandra and Graham were great hosts, very quick to help us with anything. I particularly enjoyed driving through the fruit groves as well as sunbathing on the roof terrace.
Because of the wireless internet connection, most of my colleagues had no idea that I wasn't simply working from home for the week.
Thanks.

Staying in El Roble is one of the best things, perhaps the best among the best, in our Spain holiday. If you are here in August, please stay late and watch the shooting stars. We saw more than 10, the longest and brightest I have ever seen in my life, within one hour. My two boys were overjoyed. The experience will be our beloved life memory.

12 days of glorious sunshine, immaculate accommodation with the added bonus of a barbecue for the evenings, and a Jacuzzi to ease the aching joints after cycling over the roaming Spanish hills. Spectacular sunsets from the roof terrace, to top off a perfect holiday. Hope to be back soon! P.S. Cheers for the complementary wine + beers, and the excellent hospitality!!! All the best...

All the above (except the cycling!). Truly excellent villa, more than we had expected, clean smart, everything works - thank you. To say superb seems to simple, perhaps now we understand the 'Magic' of Spain. Thank you from all of us.
S, S and R - East Sussex, UK
Excellent place to stay - we have driven "all over" Andalucia in nice weather. The jacuzzi gets 5 *s and the villa very cosy. We would love to come back!

- Description of local area:
- Within walking distance of El Corcho, approximately 1.5kms, there are a few country bar/restaurants.
The village of Alhaurin el Grande is a short drive or walk away, 3kms, and contains plenty of traditional Spanish life, shops, banks and a local market every Thursday.
It contains mainly Spanish bars, together with some English and Irish bars, as well as some of the best restaurants in the region. You can dine out in Spanish, Italian, Seafood and quality silver service restaurants for that special occasion.
